In the Hotel
We can’t imagine that you’ll be short of
ideas of what to do whilst you’re with us, but just in case here’s
a couple to point you in the right direction…
Luxury picnics
Order a luxury picnic hamper from the kitchen
(we have several different types to choose from), borrow a rug from
reception and saunter down to the beautiful avenue of lime trees to
the seat at the bottom (it’s only a mile!).
Indoor activities
Although we don’t encourage running, jumping
or skipping through the hotel (we have 63 acres outside for such
activities!) we can offer you a selection of traditional board
games, giant Jenga or scrabble.
Or you can pluck a book off one of our
bookshelves and curl up in front of the fire with a cup (or glass!)
of something gorgeous!
Why go out at all?
Ask room service to deliver a champagne
breakfast to your room and indulge in a little R&R - a
lazy start is a great start to any day!
Alternatively, if you’re really keen to get and stay fit, we
have an on-site, well-equipped gymnasium available to you.
