The Mountbatten Room was just perfect (and the
flowers lovely) . As for the food and service - what can I
say. There just aren't enough superlatives to describe the
occasion. It was divine. All my guests were quite
overwhelmed. The chef and his team really made the evening
extra special. We were made to feel really special and
the event was truly memorable. Please thank absolutely
everyone for their kindness and attention.

The most wonderful morning spent with Billy Taylor
on one of his hawk walks. Billy clearly loves his birds and his
knowledge was infinite. I am so looking forward to seeing his ideas
for the future develop and would not hesitate to recommend anyone
to join one of his tours. A most marvellous special Birthday
treat.

After a fantastic event (which I will comment on
separately) we thoroughly enjoyed the very informative and relaxed
falconry display the following morning. We have seen a few displays
and found the gentleman to be very good at his presentation of the
birds, very knowledgable and easy to listen to or ask questions. We
look forward to coming back and seeing how well the
concervation/breeding program is going and to see more of the
birds, that you hand-rear, in the displays in the future. Many
thanks - we got some fabulous photos too.

I recently had a day at the hotel with the
Falconer. It was a really well organised day with us flying display
birds in the morning and walking "Jacob" through the lovely
grounds. I also really enjoyed seeing the snowdrops, violets and
primroses. In the afternoon we took another Harris Hawk "Jasper"
out hunting and it was fabulous to see him in a natural hunting
mode. The experience passed on by the Falconer Billy Taylor was
first class as was the whole day. The friendly hotel staff both in
the hotel and the gardens will ensure that I return to stay in the
hotel. In April I will probably take in the display on a Sunday and
enjoy afternoon tea in the hotel afterwards which will round off
the experience. Fine food , an excellent falconry set up , and a
wonderful setting. What more could one ask for.
